What it does
Native editing across 20+ formats
Work with MP3, FLAC, Opus, MP4/M4A/ALAC, WAV, AIFF, WavPack, APE, Matroska, WebM, WMA, DSF, TAK, and more. Tagumi writes metadata using the right tag standard for each container.
AutoTag with MusicBrainz
Match selected files against MusicBrainz recordings and releases, preview proposed changes with confidence scores, pull cover art from the Cover Art Archive, and optionally write MusicBrainz IDs for future matching.
Custom tags without flattening
View, add, edit, remove, and restore custom metadata in the Custom tab. Format-specific fields stay format-specific across ID3, Vorbis Comments, MP4 atoms, APEv2, EBML, and ASF-backed files.
Batch cleanup with live previews
Rename files with tag-based templates, reorder tracks, write track and disc numbers with totals, and run find-and-replace or capitalization tools across selected fields before committing changes.
Artwork, BPM, and lyrics tools
Add, replace, paste, import, search, validate, and resize cover art; detect BPM from audio or tap it in manually; and edit synchronized lyrics on supported ID3-based files.
Validated against messy real-world files
Tagumi has been tested against a large corpus of standard, non-standard, malformed, and legacy audio files across many containers and tag types, so mixed-format library work stays predictable.

FLAC uses Vorbis Comments for native FLAC metadata. Non-standard prepended ID3v2 tags can be repaired, but are not written back as native FLAC tags. Local .m3u and .m3u8 playlists can also be loaded to expand their referenced audio files.
